These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the TurboClipboard application (“App”), developed and operated by Epistates, Inc., a Delaware Corporation (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using TurboClipboard, you agree to these Terms.
Service Description
TurboClipboard is a clipboard manager and command palette application for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.
Clipboard Management
- • Saved clips and templates
- • Fuzzy search across clipboard history
- • Ephemeral history with auto-clearing
- • Saved Library smart folders
- • Local-only file reference, object capture, on-device text extraction, and stable image previews on Mac
- • External snippet and history importers on Mac
- • Text transforms, named transform pipelines, and smart actions
- • Direct paste into the app you were using, on Mac
- • Sensitive-clip detection, concealment, and optional auto-expiry
Smart Features
- • Content-type detection (URLs, JSON, colors)
- • Context-aware quick actions
- • Keyboard-first navigation
- • On-device smart categorization and summaries
- • On-device semantic search, and optional Apple Intelligence steps inside transform pipelines
- • Template engine with variables and auto-generated forms
- • Client-side encrypted iCloud sync controlled in Settings
- • iPhone and iPad companion app with Share Extension, Shortcuts actions, and a Custom Keyboard that both pastes and saves clips

User Obligations
- Use the app for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the application
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Comply with all applicable laws and App Store guidelines
- Maintain security of your device
Prohibited Uses
- × Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the application
- × Removing or altering copyright notices
- × Using the app for commercial redistribution
- × Attempting to bypass application restrictions
- × Any use that violates applicable laws
Intellectual Property
Application
The TurboClipboard application, including its design, code, and user interface, is the intellectual property of Epistates, Inc. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
Whether stored only on one device or optionally synced via iCloud, the clips and templates you create remain your personal content. You retain full ownership and control, and can delete them at any time.
License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TurboClipboard on your personal Mac, iPhone, and iPad devices for personal or professional use, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.
Legal Framework
Disclaimers
TurboClipboard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
On-Device Intelligence
Categorization, summaries, text recognition, semantic search, and Apple Intelligence steps in transform pipelines run on your device through Apple’s frameworks, and their availability depends on your device and OS version. Generated or transformed text may be inaccurate or incomplete, so review it before relying on it. These features assist with your content; they do not replace your own judgment.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Epistates, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of TurboClipboard.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Changes & Termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TurboClipboard after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Data & Privacy
TurboClipboard collects no analytics or telemetry. Clipboard data is stored locally first, and syncable rows can be mirrored through client-side encrypted CloudKit sync controlled in Settings. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
